Project description

Detail knowledge and better understanding of the function of the ruminant’s digestive system is important for veterinary students throughout their study period; from anatomy, histology, parasitology and clinical subjects, where diseases in regards to feeding, digestion and parasites are presented. Over the years teachers noticed a difficulty in understanding the structure and complexity of the ruminant digestive system. With this project we want to present to students a more comprehensive approach to learning this subject. During this project, we intend to build an anatomically accurate 3D model of the four stomachs of the ruminant and 3D models of the parasites that reside there.
