The Unit for Dermatology performs diagnostics and treatment of skin diseases of cats and dogs.
Dermatology
Diagnostics includes tests for skin parasites, cytologic tests, microbiological examinations, allergy tests (serological diagnostics and intradermal allergy testing), skin biopsies, haematologic and endocrinologic examinations. Desensitisation procedures are also carried out for patients with allergies.
Patients are admitted three times a week in the morning by appointment. The waiting period is usually 7-14 days. Appointments can be made by calling 01 4779 277 from 8am to 7pm on weekdays and 8am to 1:30pm on Saturdays.
