We perform diagnostics, treatment and prevention of various diseases in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Additionally, we advise and educate farmers and veterinarians and provide laboratory diagnostics support.

At the Clinic for Ruminants and Pigs, we conduct clinical and epidemiological diagnostics of diseases in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. We deal with treatment and prevention of diseases and perform various surgical procedures.

We provide support for farmers and veterinarians on diagnostic procedures, treatment and disease prevention. Additionally, we educate future veterinarians and conduct scientific research.

Two laboratories operate within the Clinic for Ruminants and Pigs:

  • Laboratory for Clinical Pathology, where haematological, biochemical and hormonal blood analyses, as well as analyses of urine, milk and other biological specimens, are performed for various animal species
  • Laboratory for Serology, where serologic testing for pig diseases is performed
