The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Ljubljana announces a call for study programmes for training in the following areas:
Programmes
The training is intended for veterinarians working in the field of ruminant healthcare. The study programme offers in-depth and up-to-date knowledge in the field of ruminant healthcare. It includes clinical diagnostic processes, treatment and prevention of the six most common health problems in ruminants (metabolic diseases, udder disease, infertility, surgery, limb/lame diseases, infectious diseases).
Training in the field of healthcare and poultry farming systems is a learning and educational process in which veterinarians acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of the poultry healthcare and breeding technology. The programme includes clinical and laboratory diagnostics, disease prevention and control methods, hatching technologies, feed technology and preparation of feed mixes, breeding technology for individual categories and types of poultry, and requirements for organic poultry production.
The purpose of the Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety programme is for attendees to upgrade their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of veterinary public health, food hygiene and safe food.
The programme is intended for veterinarians working in the field of small animal medicine (cats and dogs) and provides attendees with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cats and dogs.
The training in the field of diseases and healthcare of birds, small mammals and reptiles is a learning and educational process in which attendees acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of bird, small mammal and reptile healthcare.
